Feel Sensational!  Vaginal Rejuvenation

What is the Geneveve Treatment?

Geneveve™ by Viveve is a clinically-proven, single-session treatment that safely and comfortably rejuvenates vaginal tissue and improves its responsiveness. Just like the skin, vaginal tissue changes over time. When collagen support fibres lose their youthful strength and vitality, a feeling of looseness called laxity, especially around the vaginal opening, occurs. Vaginal laxity is an extremely common medical condition caused by aging, childbirth, genetics and lifestyle. Millions of women suffer silently with vaginal laxity and the resulting loss of sexual sensation and satisfaction. The Geneveve treatment is not a cosmetic procedure because it’s not about how you look, but how you feel. It’s a painless, non-surgical medical procedure performed by our doctor and designed to treat vaginal laxity and therefore increase physical sensation during intercourse. It works at the cellular level to tighten the vaginal tissue gently and gradually. The treatment takes 30 minutes with no anesthesia or downtime.

How does it work?

To generate healthy new collagen, the Geneveve treatment uses patented deep heating and surface cooling to stimulate your body’s natural collagen formation process.  This dual heating and cooling capability trigger the body’s own natural regenerative process that leads to new and stronger collagen while maintaining patient’s safety and comfort.Women who have had the Geneveve treatment agree it works!  In fact, 90% of the women who had the procedure in clinical studies, reported significant, sustained tightening, sensation and satisfaction 12 months after treatment.

Does it hurt?

The Geneveve treatment is not painful. Some patients report a cooling sensation, other note a warmth, but virtually all agree that the procedure is painless and comfortable.

How soon will I see results?

Every patient is different. Some patients report feeling a difference immediately, but new collagen takes about three months to develop and may continue to improve after that time.

How long will the results last?

Results will vary from patient to patient based on their individual needs and their body’s unique ability to produce collagen, but on average patients are still feeling their results at 12 months. From there you can decide, with the doctor, whether or not you are ready for a maintenance treatment or if you’re still experiencing great results and can wait.

Is there any recovery time?

The surface of the vaginal wall is not disrupted, thanks to the patented cooling, so you can return to normal activities immediately following the procedure. The doctor will offer instructions on how quickly you can return to intimate activities.

Is the treatment safe?

The radiofrequency energy used in the treatment has been used for over a decade in treating the delicate skin on the face, neck and hands. Numerous clinical trials by Viveve Clinics have demonstrated the safety of this latest application. One safe, painless Geneveve treatment can have a sensational impact on your sexual health.

What else can it do?

The Gneveve procedure can also cure urinary stress incontinence, also known as involuntary urination. The leakage of urine is a common and distressing issue, which affects many women worldwide and may have a large impact on quality of life. However, it can now be treated in one single session by the Geneveve procedure.

Who can have the Geneveve treatment?

Women! However, you should NOT consider Geneveve if you have an implantable pacemaker or an Automatic Implantable Cardioverter/Defibrillator (AICD) or any other implantable metal device.

Who performs the treatment?
