Acne Scar Treatment

acne scars

Acne might have defined your past but it does not need to even be a part of your future.

Filler Option:

Bellafill is the only filler that is FDA approved for moderate to severe acne scar correction.

Dr. Suji has 2 methods of addressing acne scars with Bellafill.  Individual scars can be filled or she can inject in a way that gives you a thin layer over the area. She is excellent at determining which method will work best for your skin.  Bellafill improves the texture of skin overtime.  So you get the immediate results and then the longterm benefits.

Bellafill is one of the most throughly studied and developed fillers on the market.  It is a long lasting filler with results still seen at 5 years after injection.  Bellafill generates production of your own collagen.  Did you know after the age of 35 you lose approximately .5 mg of your own collagen?  By adding Bellafill into your treatment plan you regain that volume loss AND stimulate your own collagen giving you a filler that lasts and leaves you improved from the natural aging process. For acne scars you can get immediate results and smoother skin.

Bellafill® injectable filler treats the signs of aging so quickly, you will see results after your very first treatment.

ReFINERY is the only practice in the triangle to achieve Bella Diamond level status for Bellafill® treatments, placing us in the top 1 percent of Bellafill® providers in the United States.

Laser Option:

Fraxel & Clear + Brilliant

There are two laser options to help with acne.  In general the clear + brilliant laser seems to help light acne, young acne, or to maintain the results achieved with Fraxel.  The Fraxel Laser gets the most dramatic results. A laser resurfacing can help clear out existing acne and stop new acne from being formed.  A laser treatment also helps you build your own collagen to help repair acne damage.

Topicals:

Skincare can be your first line of defense or your chance to maintain your results and your investment in your future.  Be careful with what you select to put on your face.  When you have flare ups the reaction is to dry it out, but a lot of times the skin needs more moisture.  Otherwise it thinks it needs more oil and makes the situation worse.  We do carry skincare lines that have excellent acne treatment options.    Come in to learn what will work best for your skin.
